More Favorite History Books

Below are listed some addditional favorites. At the bottom of the page are some multi-volume works. These are, of course, for serious readers, and are becoming a thing of the past. In out impatient age, we tend to want thigns right now, so instead of working ina series of works, authors and publishers tend to publish as separate books. In the collections below, virtually all are available in individual volumes. Whether such collections will find their way onto bookshelves in this age of Kindle and other ebooks remains to be seen.
